My First Journal! (pretty excited lol)

Hello, Deviants!

Well... Despite my join date, I'm new to DA. Still trying to figure things out. Lol

I've been drawing off-and-on for about a year(ish) and am looking to improve my traditional drawings.  I haven't made an OC yet, but I hope to! I don't use guidelines(??? the circle with the cross for the face/head) because...well...I just never used them lol.  I just got Photoshop and have been tinkering in that, but it seems a little advanced for me without tutorials or classes (forgot everything I learned in high school >.<).  My friend suggested a tablet and I'm probably going to get a Wacom Bamboo Create once I get enough saved up, but, for now at least, I'm sticking to traditional.

I'm open to any form of compliment or criticism.  Please, PLEASE let me know if you think I should try something differently.  Always looking for anything that helps me improve.
